Outgoing State Director Jabari Paul

Tallahassee, FL - Since its inception in, our Tallahassee affiliate has been one of our organization’s strongest volunteer-based chapters.  Capitalizing on the youthful energy that exists on Florida A&M’s campus, our Florida chapter works both on campus and in the non-college communities surrounding the campus. Many of our Florida alum have gone on to have successful careers as organizers, with others currently enrolled at some of the top graduate schools in the country.  We hired Jabari Paul as an interim community organizer in February as part of our State Based Apprenticeship Program to ramp-up our civic engagement and census activities.

youngvoter.org (LYVEF) is proud to reestablish itself in Tallahassee, FL. With strong ties to this area, LYVEF is no stranger to Florida’s Capitol City and returns now, with a mission to move the organization’s agenda forward even further. “Numbers Don’t Lie,” first among many campaigns that LYVEF presented in the early spring months, made sure citizens participated in the Census. During this campaign, LYVEF especially focused its attention on targeting residents of areas with low participation.
