Nevada League’s Krysten Clark is working on LYVEF’s latest project, November2nd.org
The November 2nd campaign will engage 50,000 new voters online to vote in the upcoming General Election. A co-branded project of 99problems.org, November2nd.org is featured throughout the blogosphere on sites like HipHopDX.com and JENESIS Magazine through a series of innovative and fun widgets.
Krysten is busy conducting interviews with music artists in the hip hop community, celebrities, tastemakers and grassroots heroes about the importance of voting in the upcoming general election.

Netroots Nation 2010
The fifth annual gathering of Netroots Nation 2010 took place in Las Vegas, Nevada July 22 – July 25 at the Rio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, and Nevada state director Krysten Clark, along with E.D. Rob Biko Baker, got in on the action.
Krysten spoke on the panel 2010 Youth Resurgence: Engaging a New Generation of Voters.
Netroots Nation 2010 included panels led by national and international experts; identity, issue and regional caucuses; prominent political, issue and policy-oriented speakers; a progressive film screening series; and the most concentrated gathering of progressive bloggers to date.
Nevada League Storms Offices of Senator Harry Reid on Earth Day
Nevada state director, Krysten Clark, and LYVEF volunteers, went to the offices of Senator Harry Reid on Earth Day to discuss our 2010 youth agenda. They met with Public Lands/Energy Outreach Representative, Sara Moffatt, to talk about green jobs, youth employment, the PROMISE Act and the DREAM Act.
Nevada League Table Event at Andre Agassi Boys and Girls Club of Las Vegas
As a part of the “Numbers Don’t Lie” 2010 Census campaign, Krysten Clark and Carey Jenkins set up a table at the Andre Agassi Boys and Girls Club of Las Vegas, and spoke with young people about the importance of the 2010 Census.
There was food, entertainment and games, and LYVEF gave away t-shirts, bumper stickers and pins. The event was successful and many residents pledged to fill out there Census forms.
Throughout the “Number’s Don’t Lie” 2010 census campaign, the Nevada League will be at the Andre Agassi Boys & Girls Club promoting awareness.
